Coach Jerry Quinton enters his ninth year at Lovejoy ISD. He grew up near Ardmore Oklahoma and attended Plainview High School. After high school, he attended East Central University where he played baseball as an outfielder and pitcher.
Coach Quinton is the Boys' Athletic Coordinator at Willow Springs Middle School and coaches football, wrestling, and track. He has been very fortunate in his life and gives thanks to the coaches and teachers who helped guide him into adulthood. He strives to help our students reach their potential and achieve their dreams.
Jerry lives in Blue Ridge, TX and has four awesome kids, Ronnie (22), Vivian (10), Victor (8) and Violet (8). He enjoys being outside watching his kids play and making furniture and art from reclaimed wood.
Coach Brad Fuller enters his twelfth year teaching and coaching at Lovejoy, He is honored to be part of a growing district and community that strives for excellence in so many avenues of life. Brad has served in the teaching/coaching profession for over twentyyears working with students of all backgrounds and cultures.
Brad is a 1994 graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where he earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration and a minor in Psychology. He also played four years for the Savage football team; winning OIC Co- Conference Champions in 1989, as well as, participation in the Aztec Bowl that same year. He teaches seventh grade Texas History and coaches middle school athletics at Willow Springs.
Brad has two children attending the Lovejoy Schools. Lauryn is a junior at LHS and Avery is a seventh-grader at Willow Springs Middle School.
This is JB Nicholson’s 6th year at Lovejoy and currently coaching middle school football and baseball at the high school, as well as teaching PE at Lovejoy Elementary School. Prior to coming to Lovejoy, Coach Nicholson coached baseball and football at Derby High School in Derby, Kansas for 15 years. In 2001, the Derby Panthers won the 6A State Championship while Coach Nicholson worked directly with the pitching staff. Coach Nicholson was offered the Head Baseball Coaching position in 2010, where he held that position for 3 years before making the transition to the Allen area.
Coach Nicholson graduated from Newman University in 1991, with a BS in Physical Education where he played baseball, and then received a MS from Wichita State University in 1997.
He is married to Sheryl Nicholson who teaches Kindergarten at Lovejoy Elementary School. They have 6 kids, Tiffany, Ashley, Skylar, TJ, Brady and Peyton. Coach Nicholson loves being with his family and enjoys riding bikes and working out.
Coach Chris Walker is in his first year at Lovejoy coaching Middle School Football and High School Basketball. He has five years coaching experience serving in Red Oak for three years prior to coaching in Frisco for the past couple of years.
Chris and his wife Abi, a middle school theater teacher in Plano, were married in 2016 and welcomed their first child, Charles “Charlie” Walker this past spring. In his spare time, Coach Walker enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and watching sports.
