Coach Jerry Quinton enters his 10th year coaching at Lovejoy ISD. He serves as the Boys’ Athletic Coordinator at Willow Springs, coaching football, wrestling, and track and field. He attended Plainview High School in Oklahoma and attended East Central University where he was a member of the baseball team.
Jerry has four children, Ronnie (23), Vivian (11), Victor (9), and Violet (9). He lives in Blue Ridge, where he enjoys being outside watching his kids play, making furniture from reclaimed wood and creating other interesting projects
Coach Brad Fuller enters his 13th year teaching and coaching at Lovejoy. He has served in the teaching/coaching profession for over twenty-two years working with students of all backgrounds and cultures. Coach Fuller is a 1994 graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where he earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration and a minor in Psychology. He was a four-year member for the Savage football team; winning OIC Co-Conference Champions in 1989, as well as, participation in the Aztec Bowl that same year.
Brad has two children attending the Lovejoy Schools: Lauryn, a senior at LHS; and Avery, a 8th grader at Willow Springs.
Coach JB Nicholson enters his 7th year at Lovejoy. He teaches PE at Lovejoy Elementary School and is currently coaching middle school football and baseball at the high school.
Prior to coming to Lovejoy, Coach Nicholson coached baseball and football at Derby High School in Derby, Kansas for 15 years. In 2001, the Derby Panthers won the 6A State Championship in baseball while Coach Nicholson worked directly with the pitching staff. Coach Nicholson was offered the Head Baseball Coaching position in 2010, where he held that position for 3 years before making the transition to the Allen area.
Coach Nicholson graduated from Newman University in 1991, with a BS in Physical Education where he played baseball, and then received a MS from Wichita State University in 1997.
He is married to Sheryl Nicholson who teaches Kindergarten at Lovejoy Elementary School. They have 6 kids, Tiffany, Ashley, Skylar, TJ, Brady and Peyton. Coach Nicholson loves being with his family and enjoys riding bikes and working out.
Coach Will Yaeger enters his 2nd year coaching with the Lovejoy football program, coaching offensive line and defensive line at Willow Springs Middle School. Coach Yaeger is a 2012 graduate of Lovejoy High School, having played football under Jim Bob Puckett.
Will enjoys watching sports, playing guitar, cycling, and growing as a coach and teacher.
Coach Chris Walker enters his second year as a Lovejoy Leopard. In addition to helping the Varsity program, Coach Walker coaches football at Willow Springs Middle School. Prior to his time at Lovejoy, he taught and coached in Red Oak for three years and Frisco for two years. .
Chris is married to Abi Walker who is also an educator. They have a son, Charlie, who will be 2 years old in February. In his spare time, Coach Walker enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
